“I sold my phone to pay for my mother’s surgery after my husband refused to help” – Lady narrates

A young woman narrates how her spouse refused to contribute for her mother’s urgent operation causing her to sell her phone to acquire money.

The young woman claims that her husband is quite affluent and prefers to spend his money on acquaintances and his side chicks rather than offering to assist her financially with the cost of her mother’s surgery.

The young woman described how her husband personally paid for the woman’s burial after her spouse passed away by spending 2.1 million naira on the funeral.

She revealed that after the burial, her husband also bought the widow a car, and the latest phone, meanwhile, he doesn’t cater to her basic needs at home as a husband.

The wife of the man further disclosed how her husband threw an expensive birthday party for his side chic but refused to give her N350K for her mother’s surgery.

“I was so frustrated. I sold my phone to raise my mum’s hospital bills. I lied to him that they stole it. He wanted to use the serial code to destroy the phone and I had to open up. Now he’s threatening to send me back to my father’s house if I don’t bring back the phone.”
