Davido donates $10k to hotel staff, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary for returning misplaced $70,000 to a customer
Davido, a Nigerian singer, has chosen to give Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, a dedicated employee at the Eko Hotel and Suites, $10,000 as compensation for her honesty and integrity after she returned $70,000 to the hotel’s management.
In a Lagos incident, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary found a misplaced bag in one of the hotel suites that contained a sizeable sum of money—$70,000, to be exact.
She immediately informed the hotel management of the discovery without any hesitation.
The management, in turn, acted quickly and identified the unknown guest who had abandoned the cash.
The gracious guest was relieved to receive their money back in full thanks to Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary’s responsible and charitable act.
Upon hearing about this extraordinary act of honesty, Davido expressed his admiration and appreciation on his social media page.
He quoted a tweet on Twitter and pledged to reward Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary with $10,000 for her integrity and exemplary behavior.
