Afrobeat singer, Davido has reacted to the public apology in which his junior colleague, Cheque made following his disrespectful video to his wife, Chioma.
GIDIBASE had previously reported on the video which got social media users talking and dragging Cheque.
Cheque was seen in his car throughout the video, singing to different women’s photographs on his phone. He scrolled through Davido and his wife, Chioma’s pictures, calling them shawty, and when he got to a picture of Chioma alone, he zoomed in on it and started singing.
This move caused debate among fans and followers, with many claiming that zooming in on Chioma’s photo like any ‘random babe’ is rude.
Cheque erased the video and, while he did not specify what he did, he offered a public apologies to Davido, indicating that he did not intend any disrespect, a gesture which was acknowledged by Davido who put out a love emoji.
