Chelsea have conceded defeat in the race to sign Becker Alisson from AS Roma.
The West London side has now drawn up a three-man goalkeeper shortlist as alternatives.
Chelsea are willing to let Belgium goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois join Real Madrid in a £35million deal rather than risk losing him for nothing next summer.
The goalkeeper’s contract will expire next season with the Belgian unwilling to sign an extension.
Alisson had been top of new manager, Maurizio Sarri’s wish list, but the Brazilian is currently at Liverpool to undergo a medical and finalise his record £66.8m transfer.
Evening Standard reports that Chelsea have already moved on from the disappointment of missing out on Alisson and have a list of three goalkeepers.
These goalkeepers are Leicester City’s Kasper Schmeichel; AC Milan’s Gianluigi Donnarumma and Everton’s Jordan Pickford.
