Dani Alves Signs PSG After Snubbing Manchester City

Brazilian defender, Dani Alves, who was set to join English club, Manchester City, has in a last minute u-turn, signed for Ligue 1 giants, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), on a free transfer.

The 34 year old Alves, moved from Juventus, having been released from his contract, but surprised many football fans.

He signed a contract that keeps him at PSG until June 2019.

Manchester City, have been dealt a blow with this transfer..

According to the BBC, Alves, who has signed a two-year deal with the Parisians, opted against joining up with his former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola as City would not match the £230,000 a week he’s set to earn in France.
