The president’s absence and lack of information about his condition has evoked a lot of negative reactions, questions and speculations from Nigerians. Some speculators even claimed he had died, while some claimed he was unconscious or possibly mentally unfit to rule the country.
The vice-president, Yemi Osibanjo in a press conference last week after a trip to check on the president in London hinted Nigerians that the president was in good health and would be back in the country soon.
Given the present state of the economy and the many dramas in the political scene we really wish the news of his return is true and would add a bit of sanity to our beloved country Nigeria.
