The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has issued a very important notice to ‘all 2016 batch ‘A’ stream 1 prospective Corps members that missed the orientation course’.
In spite of several complains by the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) and other concerned groups that the date fixed (June 13) for the orientation course coincided with the Muslim corps members’ Ramadan fast, the scheme appears not worried by it, as it has advised all Batch A prospective corps members (PCMs) who missed out on stream ‘1’ to go online and reprint their call-up letters for stream ‘2’.
Meanwhile it was gathered that the MCAN and NYSC agreed on the modalities that would make it easy for Muslim Corps members to observe the Ramadan without too much hassles.
