The State Commissioner for Investment, Commerce and Industry, Rahmatu Yar’adua, told reporters about the planned collaboration on Monday.
She addressed reporters after she received the representative of the Institute who were on study tour of the State centres in Lavun, Katcha in Bosso Local Government Area of state.
The Chairman of Edati Local Government Area, Zubeiru Isah, thank the state government for its proactive step to establish such Shea butter centres across the state.
Dr Mustapha Jibril, who is the Commissioner of Health and Hospital Services, also thanked the state Governor Abubakar Sani Bello for his kind gesture to the people of Bosso Local Government Area.
Shea butter is increasingly gaining popularity with younger persons embracing its use for different purposes, ranging from production of cosmetics – Skin and hair related products – to medicinal ointments.
It will create employment opportunities for persons that will take part in the training that the partnership will provide.
