JAMB has asked all stakeholders to ensure that they get power supply by all means as it plans to start the Computer Based Test in 2013 .
Students planning to sit for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination in 2015 have been advised to ensure they have access to power or buy an inverter because the board will not change its mind on the commencement of the Computer Based Test (CBT).
JAMB Registrar, Professor Dibu Ojerinde, stated this on Wednesday while fielding questions from journalists in Minna, Niger State.
Ojerinde said the decision is not strange because the board has since 2007 made all stakeholders aware of its plans to go digital.
The power situation has been cited as a main problem for the CBT, but the Registrar said it would not be a challenge.
“If you want to take part in this process, you must have all the facilities including adequate power supply.
“You must have an inverter,” Ojerinde said.
He added that 617,000 candidates sat for CBT in this year’s examination.
