A mother of identical quadruplet boys wanted to help her six year old sons adjust in school as well as help their teacher and classmates to tell them apart.
The quadruplets, whose names are Jiang Yunlong, Jiang Yunxiao, Jiang Yunhan and Jiang Yunlin from eldest to youngest, are so similar that it is very difficult to tell them apart.
The mother of quadruplet boys shaved numbers into her sons’ hair by shaving their head leaving only a number on their head.

The mother, Tan Chaoyun, of Shenzen in China’s Guangdong Province, took the drastic step before they started primary school because she was worried that the teacher will have a hard time identifying them and classmates will be confused.
“My kids are identical, they all look the same, even for me it is still hard to tell them apart, until they were 18 months I could only tell the difference between them by the different ankle tags we put on them. Now I recognize them by the different shape of their eyelids. Even their father cannot always tell the difference between them. Sometimes he mistakenly punishes the wrong child,” Chaoyun said.
