Emir of Kano have professed his love for Jesus Christ while explaining that it doesn't stop him from being a Muslim.
The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has reportedly explained that he is a Muslim with love for Jesus Christ.
The monarch reportedly took to his Instagram handle on Thursday, October 13, 2016 to publicly declare his love for Christianity, while also stating his love for Jesus Christ.
Sanusi, reports say, posted a picture of an inscription that says: “I am a Muslim and I love JESUS. Peace Be Upon Him.”
The picture was reportedly captioned by words of the Emir which says: “Many people are unaware of the fact that one cannot be a Muslim without loving Jesus (Peace be upon him) known in Arabic as (Alayhis Salam).”
The Emir of Kano, Sultan of Sokoto and ooniof Ife have in recent times taken the lead in preaching unity, peace and co-existence irrespective of religion differences.
