The decomposing body of a 400 level student of the Osun state University, who was reported missing 9 days ago, has been found..
According to reports, the student’s corpse was found almost decomposed in a bush near a certain Muslim cleric’s (Alfa) house.
Some students residing near the Jafaria street told PUNCH correspondent who visited the bush that the Alfa, who was arrested in connection with the student’s disappearance showed the policemen the place where the corpse was dumped.
Some friends of the deceased were unable to hold their tears as they perceived the stench from the body which they recognised as their friend, The Punch reports.
The commissioner of police, Mr Fimihian Adeoye, who was contacted on the phone, couldn’t speak because he was in a meeting.
But the Deputy co-ordinator of the National Association of Nigerian students in south west, Saheed Afolabi confirmed the development to the correspondent.
