Power couple and pop icons Beyonce and Jay-Z accepted GLAAD Media’s Vanguard award on Thursday night in Los Angeles.
The GLAAD Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBTQ community.
The couple who were present took the stage to thank the organisers for the awards while preaching love .
Beyonce said “We are here to promote love for every human being,” she said. She encouraged the room to look first to friends and family.
