Aisha Buhari Rants Over the Poor Condition of the State House Clinic, Abuja

Aisha Buhari claims State House Clinic Told Her No Machine For Her X-Ray

Days After President Muhammad Buhari’s daughter, Zahra Buhari, now Zahra Buhari-Indimi shares her pain about the sabotage and unfair management of the state house clinic in Abuja.

Buhari’s wife, Aisha, has also expressed her laments about the clinic’s poor state, slamming the Chief Medical Director of the State House Clinic.

Mrs. Aisha Buhari, the wife of the President, on Monday publicly upbraided the Chief Medical Director of the State House Clinic, Dr. Husain Munir, over the poor state of the health facility established to take care of the President, Vice-President, their families as well as members of Staff of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

According to The Punch, she spoke at the opening of a two-day stakeholders meeting on Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn Child, Adolescent Health and Nutrition held at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.

Mrs. Buhari said a situation where constructions were going on in the health facility that cannot boast of a syringe was not good enough for the country.

He recalled that she was sick recently and was advised to travel abroad because of the poor state of the clinic.

The President’s wife said she had to go to a private hospital owned by foreigners when she was told that the x-ray machine in the State House Clinic was not working.

“I called the Aso Clinic to find out if they have an X-Ray machine, they said it’s not working.

“In the end I had to go to a hospital owned and operated by foreigners 100 per cent.

“There is a budget for the Hospital and if you go there now, you will see a number of constructions going on but they don’t have a single syringe there. What is the purpose of the buildings if there are no equipment there to work with?

“You can imagine what happens across the states to governors wives if this will happen to me in Abuja,” she said.

She told Munir who was present at the event that the budget allocated to the clinic must be accounted for.
