Social media has been buzzing following a video of a university staff cutting the hair of a student.
According to the video, university official must cut a student’s hair if it is too long or does not meet the institution’s standards.
Social media users have been sharing a video of a woman having her hair cut off in public because it was too long.
Despite the student’s sour expression, the official who is presumed to be a lecturer did justice to her hair without apology.
In response, internet users claimed that some universities in Nigeria have dress codes they expect students to adhere to, and that failure to do so results in a public reprimand.
