In a viral video, some suspected yahoo boys are seen beating an Islamic cleric known as “alfa” for allegedly “defrauding” their colleague of N500,000.
One of the suspected yahoo lads had approached the Islamic cleric in search of a soap that would help him in his day-to-day business of scamming others. He allegedly paid N500,000 for the soap.
He realized weeks later that the soap was no longer effective in his scam endeavour.
The Islamic cleric was persuaded to return after the alleged yahoo boy informed him that his friends wanted the soap.
In the viral footage, he can be seen beating the Islamic preacher with his pals while chanting “ole” (thief). They even threatened to have him eat his soap.
It is unclear whether they received a reimbursement after that.
