Nigerian CEO rewards JAMB top scorer Kamsiyochukwu Umeh with N2.5 million

Kamsiyochukwu Umeh will receive a N2.5 million cash prize from Erisco Foods Limited as compensation for her exceptional JAMB UTME score of 360, according to CEO Dr. Eric Umeofia.

The student from Deeper Life High School received a 99 in Chemistry, a 98 in Math, a 97 in Physics, and a 66 in English.
Dr. Umeofia praised Kamsiyochukwu for his academic prowess in an interview with Punch Newspaper and emphasized the value of recognizing and rewarding exceptional students.

Additionally, he declared that her four teachers and the school’s principal would all be recognized for their contributions to her success.

The top JAMB candidate for 2023 is Kamsiyochukwu thanks to her exceptional performance in the national exams.

Her stellar test results have gained her recognition.

In an earlier interview, Kamsiyochukwu shared her excitement upon learning of her score, stating that she was in school when the results were announced and immediately went to meet her counselor. She also called her parents to share the good news.

“When it was announced that JAMB had released the result, I was in school and I went to meet my counsellor. I also called my parents to check for me. When I called them that day, my mum told me the result. My parents were excited. I particularly could not contain my joy. I wanted to shout at the top of my lungs; I was incredibly excited,” she said.

The reward from Dr Umeofia is a testament to the value of hard work and dedication to academic excellence.
