A shooting incident on the busy road of California has sent shock down the spine of many present on the scene.
According to the California Highway Patrol, on Tuesday, July 25, during rush hour, a naked lady in California stopped traffic on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge as she got out of her car and began discharging a revolver.
Around 4:40 p.m., the woman stopped her car in the middle of her lane, got out, and started screaming at oncoming drivers while brandishing a knife, according to the police.
She climbed back into her car and started heading for Oakland. She continued to act in an irregular manner, nevertheless. She exited her automobile once more at a toll booth, this time absolutely naked and with a revolver.
Unpredictably, the woman started shooting the gun at the inhabited automobiles stalled behind her. Drivers in a state of panic hurriedly dialed 911 to report the hazardous condition on the San Francisco Bay-crossing I-80 span.
Video footage captured the naked woman walking along the shoulder of the bridge and firing her gun into the air before law enforcement officers swiftly arrived at the scene.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, thanks to the quick response of the police.
The officers managed to convince the unnamed woman to surrender her weapon peacefully, and she was taken into custody without incident. Her motives for the shocking outburst remain unclear at this time.
Authorities have revealed that the woman will be placed on a mental health hold in a local hospital pending further evaluation. Once released, she is expected to face unspecified charges related to the dangerous incident that brought chaos to the Bay Bridge during one of the busiest hours of the day.
