Online video captures the heartwarming moment a man pays N250K to an old maker of piggy banks after his video of him went viral. He received the money from crowdfunding.
The good-hearted Nigerian user @Ositapopcorn on TikTok claimed to have recorded the old man when he originally attempted to buy a piggy bank from him.
He was affected by the man’s situation and decided to record him in order to raise money and public awareness.
The TikToker went back to the man and informed him of the video he had created and the financial support he had received from Nigerians.
In the touching video, he gave the man the piggy bank which was filled with cash and told the man to open it up to see the cash that had been donated.
Upon opening the piggy bank, he told the man the total amount of cash and the elderly man couldn’t believe his ears.
He thanked the man gratefully and extended prayers also to the generous Nigerians who had given him a new zest for life.
