Many were motivated by the video of an American-born African woman who drives trucks for a living.
The same woman, who happens to be a truck driver in another country, uploaded a video of herself checking her vehicle before a journey.
The woman who posted the video explained that she did so to inspire other young ladies to be passionate about their careers. She announced that she will be paid $4200 (N3,328,500) for a single 1323-mile voyage and would be departing for her next cargo.
She also suggested that women in the field consider careers as dispatchers. She says she often makes videos about her job as a truck driver, in which she describes how she makes $13,000 (N10,302,500) per week.
