Lady expresses shock as her guard dog plays with thief that jumped into her family’s compound[VIDEO]
Nigerian woman expressed her dissatisfaction with the performance of her family’s security dog after it failed to carry out its primary responsibility of guarding their home.
The incident happened when a thief who was suspected of breaking into the compound ended up having an unexpectedly cordial encounter with the dog.
The woman, whose identity is unknown, posted a video of the perplexing interaction between the alleged intruder and their security dog.
The dog appeared to grow an instant affection for the trespasser rather than frighten or chase him away.
In the video, the dog is shown playingfully circling the person as if he were a friend or even a family member.
After their friendly interaction, the man managed to make a swift exit from the premises by jumping over the fence.
Interestingly, the dog’s reaction seemed to convey a sense of longing or attachment to the departing intruder, leaving the family baffled by the perplexing behavior.
Expressing her disappointment and concern, the lady went on to advise other homeowners against placing excessive reliance on security dogs for their protection.
She emphasized the importance of seeking divine intervention and relying on prayers for safeguarding their homes, regardless of the presence of security animals.
She wrote;
“Someone broke into our house, and see how our dog is playing with him. Never think you are safe because you think you have a security dog. Just pray for God’s protection.”
