A Nigerian man has voiced his sadness over his girlfriend’s decision to break up with him since he put off proposing marriage despite their eight-year friendship.
The man, whose identity has been withheld, disclosed that his 30-year-old girlfriend stopped coming to his house and resigned from some of the duties she had taken on because she was unhappy with his unwillingness to be married.
In order to build a strong foundation for a family, he reaffirmed his desire to make a significant financial breakthrough before entering into a relationship.
The man, who was described as a person who was committed to his goals and objectives, explained his situation by saying that his financial situation wasn’t yet suitable for the large financial commitment that marriage would entail.
In his words;
“I’ve been dating my girlfriend for 8 years. Recently, she stopped coming to my house because she said she has given me too much wife benefits and that is why I’m refusing to get married to her.
She’s 30yrs. I’m still a hustler working on a huge cashout before I can start a family. I don’t know why women are like this”
