A trending video which surfaced online shows the moment the first wife of a man attacked his soon-to-be second wife on his wedding day.
The bride (an Amarya) who was to marry that day paid a visit to the first wife to greet her, as was customary in their culture.
Much to her surprise, the first wife, who was evidently displeased with her husband decision to take a second wife, gave the second wife a heavy slap and descended on her after the slap sent her flying to the floor.
Other women who had gathered round for the event were seen trying to separate the two women from fighting.
A Tweep identified as @fulani_tutor who shared the video wrote:

The (First wife) seized this opportunity to attack the bride.
This is wrong, there is no justification to this act.
