After being defrauded by her pastor in Edo State, a cancer patient from Nigeria is seeking justice.
Victor Okike, the pastor in question is the pastor of Goodnews International Gospel Center and the pastor in charge of the church.
In both his personal account and the church’s account, he received numerous alerts totaling more than $2,000,000.
The woman claims that the pastor deceived her, and she is now calling for justice.
She gave the pastor screenshots of several transactions she had made as well as a voice memo that detailed their exchange.
The woman can be heard in the voice note pleading with the pastor to return every penny she sent him in the hopes that he would pray for her cancer healing.
She claims that the pastor had instructed her to borrow money and send it to him, but her health did not improve as promised, prompting her to request a refund.
Adding to this, during the conversation, the pastor revealed that he usually demands monetary gifts in return for deliverance and hers wasn’t going to be an exception which was why he demanded a brand new suit and funding for his trip abroad.
