The angry pastor stormed out of the church auditorium without blessing the couple’s marriage, leaving the congregation member in the dark.
Because the man getting married to his daughter didn’t have valid legal documents from Canada, the pastor who is said to be the bride’s father declined to bless the union.
The pastor questioned the man about his immigration history and legal documents while the ceremony was still in progress.
After the groom answered, the man of God descended from the podium, kissed the bride on the cheek and said that he would not bless the marriage. He turn proceeded to issue a stern warning and explained to the congregation that the groom entered Canada illegally and will not preside a ceremony with a different motive.
In his view, the man was only trying to use marriage as a means to gain Canadian citizenship, and that did not sit well with him as a man of God and the father of the bride.
