Sensational singer, Ahmed Ololade widely known as Asake has opened up on why he sings with Yoruba.

According to the ‘2:30’ crooner, Yoruba language is an essential part of his music and why he mostly sings in the language.

In a recent interview with NewsLive Prime, the ‘Terminator’ singer emphasized how important Yoruba language is to him.

He claims that many individuals who listen to his music understand the language.

Asake also stated that he believes music transcends lyrics and that what matters is the mood it produces.

“Yoruba is so important to me. To me the way I understand music is that it is a feeling.”
