Wizkid’s Royal Albert Hall Sold Out Show Vs Davido’s Sierra Leone Sold Out Show – Which Is More Iconic?
In as much as I have tried not to get involved in this whole Wizkid and Davido Tussle, it’s quite fortunate and unfortunate that some so-called die-hard fans won’t just let someone rest as events unfold about both artistes.
After the famous Wizkid‘s sold out show at Royal Albert Hall, London, his fans were all over the place throwing subtle jabs at Davido and his fans.
The whole thing got more interesting few days ago when Davido shut down a 50,000 capacity stadium overcrowded with fans in Sierra Leone. This came as a big opportunity for Davido‘s fans to hit back.
Now Let’s settle this here based on facts about both shows;
WIZKID’S ROYAL ALBERT HALL SHOW
The concert was held on 29th September 2017.
Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, Jay Z, Kaiser Chiefs, and many other famous artistes with international recognition have headlined shows at the Royal Albert Hall.
Wizkid is the first African or Nigerian artiste to sell out the famous Royal Albert Hall
Tickets for the show was already “Sold out” completely two days before the show.
The Royal Albert Hall has a capacity of up to 5, 272 seats which means the total number of fans present at the show are not up to 6,000.
DAVIDO’s SIERRA LEON SOLD OUT SHOW
The show was held on 21st October at a stadium in Freetown, Sierra Leon.
The show was part of his many successful shows in the 30billion world tour.
It was a free show with over 50,000 fans in attendance, unlike Wizkid‘s paid show with only 6,000 fans present.
Remember, Wizkid show is Paid for while that of Davido is a Free show for his Worldwide Tour.
However, the Location matters also and one enjoys Media Recognition and attention than the other.
