At around 1.20am this morning, president elect Muhammadu Buhari gave up on waiting for INEC Chairman Attahiru Jega’s announcement (which did not come till 3.30am) and called it a night.

Before retiring to bed, he thanked well wishers and his campaign team who had been up all night waiting and rejoicing with him.
