Soul singer, Timi Dakolo, has responded to a comment made by the Minister of Environment, Amina Mohammed, suggesting that he intentionally avoided performing at the Ogoni land clean-up launch.
Mohammed, in a Twitter comment posted on Sunday, June 5, 2016, thanked everyone who contributed towards the success of the launch, but expressed regret over Dakolo’s decline of the invitation to attend.
A big thank you to all who contributed to the success of Ogoni cleanup launch. I only wish Timi Dakolo accepted our invitation to perform
