Ruyi Irabor has penned a heartwarming note to his mother, Betty Irabor, owner of Genevieve magazine.
He shared the post by CNN Africa on Betty’s “The Dew Collection” inspired by her struggle with Mental Health. The collection, a lovely mixture of orange, peach, red, yellow and silver was designed by 10 prolific designers including Mai Atafo, Lanre Dasilva and Toju Foyeh.
He wrote, “Super Proud of Me Madre! She just keeps on setting the bar higher and higher. Sold out Magazines for years, then her Books and now the Dew Collection. Power Moves. She has proven that on the other side of depression lies success, you just have to be willing to go for it. This year we’ve all been super achievers in my Family, especially in Media. All thanks to God for every battle won #IraborPower #OriginalCreativeFamily#CNN #Depression #Bettyirabor #JusttheBeginning #DewCollection”
