Rick Ross says he squashed his beef with Drake during that mess with his artist, Meek Mill for one simple reason – there’s a ton of bread to be made.|
During an appearance on “Best Seat In The House” with Hovain Hylton, Rozay said he and Drake met to put an end to whatever tension they had. Ross told Hovain that Rap-A-Lot CEO J. Prince set up the meeting and both sides agreed to focus their energy on making money.
“Me actually sitting down with Drake, shout out to J. Prince,” Ross said. “It was really just… We wasn’t even discussing anything negative because by the time we get in the room, it’s so much other things going on that it’s already, ‘Let’s get on some money.’ But I had to just make sure we at sat down and have some sort of understanding. It’s all about trying to touch nine figures.”
Unfortunately enough, the More Life rapper doesn’t see things that way given his earlier address to the beef. Confirming during an OVO Sound Radio interview that he’ll never return to a friendship with the Dreamchasers rap star, he revealed that the beef did take an emotional toll on him despite still coming out on top.
