Igbo rapper, Phyno has said he’s not looking for marriage right now and for him, music is paramount in his life at the moment.
Yesterday, the star of the hit song, ‘Connect’ granted an interview at Beat FM to promote his forthcoming second studio album and during the session, he was quizzed on when he will be getting married.
The 29-year-old singer tackled the question first by referring to Flavour’s interview where he stated that marriage is not for everyone. He said, “I think Flavour is right about entertainers and marriage. Right to some extent and wrong to some extent. Depends on your wife. If your wife is jealous, she may not be able to handle it.” He then added, “I’m old enough to marry he said “But I’m married to the music right now.”
Phyno, real name Chibuzor, is currently very single and ‘baby mama free’. He aired his thoughts on the issue of increasing number of baby mamas among Nigerian celebrities. According to him, the trend won’t derail him from getting hitched. “90% of acts that have baby mamas never planned it. Nobody dey plan am. When it happens, you then decide what to do. Your kid is your kid at the end of the day, whether you marry the mother or not.” he said.
