Award winning Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw is a year older today. Born on July 19, 1971 in Cross River State, Kate is the oldest of four children.

After completing her primary and secondary school education, she spent one year at the University of Calabar undergoing remedial studies and then majored in Medical Microbiology at the School of Medical Lab Science, LUTH (Lagos University Teaching Hospital) in Lagos.
She worked briefly at the Bauchi State General Hospital. She made her Nollywood debut in 1993 when she landed the lead role in the movie, When the Sun Sets and has become of the industry’s leading actress.
