The Nigerian Broadcasting Commision has banned hit song by top artistes, Davido, Olamide and 9ice.
The affected songs are the artistes’ smash hit singles which are currently dominating the airwaves.
From the notice passed around to various stations in the country, the NBC tagged five Nigerian songs as “Not to be Broadcasted”.
The songs include ‘Wo’ and ‘Wavy level’ by Olamide, ‘Fall’ and ‘If Remix’ by Davido, and ‘Living Things’ by 9ice
Recall the Federal Ministry of Health had said Olamide’s new hit single ‘Wo’ violated the Tobacco Control Act 2015, the NBC did not state which law these other songs contravened.
