A man and a woman were killed on the spot following an accident caused by a reckless driver in Ehime Mbano local government area of Imo state.
According to an eyewitness, the dead victims who were on a motorcycle met their sudden deaths after they were hit by the bus driver of Akwa Ibom Royal Transport Company – who couldn’t control the wheels of the vehicle due to high speed.

Following the sad event and loss of lives, the youths of the area angrily took to the street to protest over what they described as high speed rates on the road (especially on the part of transport vehicles) which have resulted to deaths of residents in recent times.
