For her triumphant return back to her homeland of Kenya for the first time since winning her Oscar award, Lupita Nyong’o chose two fab outfits by Nigerian designer Maki-Oh.
This is the first time Lupita who won the hearts of fans worldwide with her impeccable style during the 2014 awards season, has rocked an African designer.
At two of her public outings while on her homecoming tour in Kenya, the actress wore two classic hand-painted and hand-dyed pieces. A silk satin scarf blouse and silk cotton skirt ensemble to a mentorship talk where she spoke about the importance of art in education & at a Press Conference, she wore a silk satin and velvet vest with silk cotton wide leg trousers.
