Wonyean Aloycious Gaye, a Liberian chef, recently took to Instagram to respond to the harsh criticism and backlash he has gotten since announcing his intention to challenge chef Hilda Baci.
Recall that since news of his intention was made public, Nigerians have been bashing him for being jealous and wanting to steal Hilda’s spotlight considering the fact that he made the declaration before she was even recognized by Guinness World Record.
The Liberian chef’s attempt to surpass Hilda Baci, who recently cooked for almost 100 hours at Amore Gardens in Lagos state, aroused extensive social media conversation.
Reacting to the whole brouhaha the chef had this to say;
“In my country Liberia, we share no hate. It’s all love here.”
Nigerians who weren’t having any of that took to his comment section to tackle him. See reactions that followed..
