Kristin Cavallari ran foul of the law Friday, September 6. The former MTV reality star was pulled over in Chicago and later escorted to police station for driving without the state’s valid license. The Evanston Police Department said she was initially stopped for speeding.
She was released shortly after posting $150 in bail.
After the incident, she tweeted “Who knew having a California drivers license in Illinois was a CRIME to be escorted to the police station to post bail?!! What a morning,” “FYI…I still have an apartment in LA so I’m a resident of California.”
