Oladapo Daniel Oyebanji profoundly called by his stage name, D’Banj has debunked the marriage rumours that has been trailing him for days.
D’Banj was reportedly wedded to 24-year-old Didi Kilglow who is half American, halfNigerian and South African at his father’s birthday party on Sunday, July 3.
According to the news which claimed D’Banj indeed got married on Sunday, the Koko Master invited 25 guests to his father’s birthday which later turned out to be registry wedding between “Tongolo” singer and Didi Kilglow.
Reacting to this, D’Banj through his manager, Frank debunked the news of his wedding to an half caste lover in a telephone conversation.
“D’Banj didn’t do any secret wedding. He had a private event meant for only few family and friends and how that turned to a marriage ceremony is what I don’t know.
Some people obviously didn’t understand simple English and we would not dignify them with response on such false tale,” D’Banj’s manager said.
Flashback to 2011, after D’Banj was seen in an unusual romance with Genevieve Nnaji at her birthday party in London on May 3, 2011, the singer was also rumoured to be married to the Nollywood actress in a lowkey ceremony.
