Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke widely known as Davido has revealed how much he would be charging per feature.
According to the singer in a recent interview on the Bootleg Kev show, Davido said his lawyers have drawn up contracts in tune to his revelation as he will be charging now to appear in a music video and collaboration.
When it comes to getting featured by artists he knows, the ‘Feel It’ crooner has claimed that he now charges $100k (N46M) plus a video. He hinted that it could be more if the collaboration request came from someone he doesn’t know.
As expected, the video elicited a variety of reactions from netizens; while some praised Davido for his latest decision, claiming that free access to him will be limited as he will no longer be taken for granted, others pointed out that he is entitled to charge more given his level and impact in the music industry.
