Timi Dakolo won 3 awards at the 2015 Headies

Nigerian singer and award winning vocalist, Timi Dakolo, who shone like a million stars at the 10th edition of The Headies while smiling home with 3 awards, has just written a heart felt message where he says his ‘praying’ grandmother arranged his life for success.
‘I had a praying Grandmother. As a child, I wondered why she prayed for me so much. I really couldn’t understand why every time she would just go ‘Kneel Down Here, close your eyes, then a single word and then would say go’.

‘Sometimes in the heat of playing with my friends or watching my best cartoon ‘Voltron‘, sometimes as early as 5am. As a child I thought it was wickedness and this woman doesn’t like me or want my happiness. She would make me read Psalm 91 and personalize it. She always says don’t worry my pikin, I dey arrange Ya life. Now I Understand, I had a Praying Grandmother’ he wrote on Instagram.
