His family know him as Hugh Jackman but a proper introduction into the entertainment world will make me call him “Wolverine.” The X-Men star Hugh pulled one of the most touching stunts as he gathered $1.85 million for charity at a little show which he organised on his birthday.
At the charity gig on October 12th, Hugh backed with a 17-member Orchestra thrilled the 4,500 packed guests with several songs from the recently released award winning movie “Les Miserables.” He also sang a tribute to his wife Deborra-Lee
Furness and displayed many pictures of his native home Australia.
In attendence were popular director Bryan Singer, Carole Bayer Sager and many more. Items that were auctioned at the end of the two-and-the-half hour show includes Original Wolverine signed Jackets, a Panarel watch, two undershirts which Hugh Jackman wore at the show which went for $11,000 each and other things.
