Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke widely known as Davido has opened up on his marriage and how he messed up his relationship with his spouse, Chioma.
During a recent interview, the singer was frank about his marriage to Chioma.
The ‘Unavailable’ crooner was questioned in a video that has been making the rounds online about a period when he was most disappointed in himself.
Before responding to the query, Davido appeared to become emotional. The DMW boss claimed that after fighting with Chioma, he was most disappointed in himself.
He continued by saying that the way he handled the circumstance at that time ruined their relationship. She is an amazing person, yet he regretted that he could have handled the situation better.
“When me and my wife first had a rift. I was disappointed in myself. I felt like I could have done better because she’s an amazing person. I messed up, but I fixed it,” he said while showing off his ring with a wide grin.
Davido’s openness about his mistake and how he handled his fight with Chioma soon got a number of his fans talking. Many of them praised his honesty.
