The Co-convener of OurMumuDonDo advocacy group, Charles Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, has accused the President Muhammadu Buhari government of turning Nigeria into a jungle where human lives no longer matter.
He made the remark while lamenting that humans were being slaughtered under the same government that promised to protect them.
The maverick entertainer spoke yesterday during a protest rally in Isolo, Lagos State over the abductions and terrorism in the North-East and other parts of the country.
Charlyboy also said the 2019 general elections cannot be conducted amid the present security challenges facing the country.
He challenged the Federal Government to tackle the issue of insecurity in the country before conducting the 2019 elections.
The entertainer also lambasted the President Muhammadu Buhari government for failing to protect Nigerians despite promising to do.
His words:-
“How can I forget the killing of Liman Hauwa and Sairura Khorsa, while so many other girls are still in the captivity of Boko Haram?
“Nigeria has turned to a jungle that human lives no longer mean anything to us. See how people are being slaughtered under the very watch of the very man who promised to stop terrorism.”
