Drake Tops Charts With “More Life”; Rick Ross “Rather You Than Me” Comes Second

The first week sales for Drake and Rick Ross’ new albums are in. Needless to say, the gap between them is enormous, but both managed to take over the two top spots on the charts.

As expected, Drake debuts at #1 comfortably. More Life comes in at 504,609 sales including streams with 226,000 of those being pure sales. You can expect these numbers to be pretty consistent for a few weeks because physical copies will be available next week. It also becomes Drake’s seventh consecutive album to debut at #1 on Billboard 200.

Meanwhile, Ross and Rather You Than Me debut at #2 behind Drake and More Life. The album’s final numbers are 100,081 sales plus streaming and 68,520 pure sales.

Congratulation to both artists! Which album you likes better, though?
