Drake Squashes Beef With Ludacris At Billboard Awards

Just a few days after making peace with rapper Tory Lanez, Drake has squashed yet another beef with another musician.

During his acceptance speech for his Top Billboard 200 Album for Views yesterday night, the Canadian rapper used the opportunity to publicly mend fences with rapper and actor, Ludacris.

Ludacris, we haven’t always seen eye to eye, but I’ve always been a big fan of yours and I got a lot of love for you,” he said. “I want to let you know that face to face, while I’m still here.”

In case you didn’t know, Ludacris and Drake began feuding in 2011 after Drake accused ‘Cris for stealing the “Supa Dupa” flow which he and some other rappers like Big Sean, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne used prominently.

“I hate that rappers picked that flow up,” Drake told AllHipHop during an interview. “I wish they had left that for people that know how to use it.”

Ludacris had responded to the shade by clapping back in his song Bada Boom. “Counterfeit rappers say I’m stealing they flows,” he rapped. “But I can’t steal what you never made up, bitch.”

And since then, the rappers have not been on friendly terms. Until now.

The OVO boss also acknowledged that he was happy he and close friend Nicki Minaj were no longer on opposing ends. Recall the duo’s relationship suffered a hiccup during Drake’s beef with Minaj’s ex, Meek Mill.

“I want to say, Nicki Minaj, I’m so glad we found our way back because I love you and I could never ever see it any other way,” he stated.
