Ogunmefun is not the only musician in his family.
Long before Vector started music, his elder sister,
Ogunmefun Olushola aka Shola Vibrator has been
involved in music but in a different genre.
While Vector as a rapper belongs to the Hip Hop
genre of music, Shola, who is in her late 30s, is a Juju
musician.
In a chat with NET, a source close to Vector who
pleads anonymity said: ‘Yes I know Vector has a sister
called Shola and she sings but I don’t know if they call
her Shola Vibrator (laughs).’
Shola attended Girls Guide Nursery School, Ikoyi and
before then, was a student of Command Children’s
School, Bonny Camp in Victoria, Island, Lagos for her
primary education. She proceeded to the Ogun State
University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-
Iwoye) to obtain a Diploma in Law.
She later moved to the University of Lagos to read
Law and Creative Arts in 1998, graduating in 2002.
Shola Vibrator, as she’s fondly called, once contested
as a Local Government Councillor on the platform of
PDP in Lagos Island but lost out and decided to focus
more on her Juju music career.
Her debut album titled, ‘Vibration Time,’ was released
in December 2013, under Deetee Records led by
Asiwaju Dele Taiwo.
