Several noteworthy personalities have been presented with national awards by President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.) in recognition of their outstanding contributions to Nigeria’s growth and development.
Among those honored is famed Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, better known as Davido, who has been named an officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
In celebration of this prestigious honor, Davido took to his social media accounts to express his gratitude.
President Buhari, acknowledging the significance of Davido’s impact on Nigerian music and culture, bestowed the national honor upon the talented artist.
The Order of the Niger is one of Nigeria’s highest national honors, recognizing exceptional service and outstanding achievements in various fields.
