It’s only taken about two years but it seems the lingering animosity between pop star Davido and media legend Dele Momodu has finally been put to rest.
The two got into a very bitter spat over the relationship between Davido and the mother of his first daughter, Sophia Momodu- the elder Momodu’s neice.
The Adelekes were accused of trying to sneak the then infant child out to Dubai without the mother’s consent and Dele Momodu thwarted that plan. Davido subsequently never hid his disdain for the older man, leading to the infamous barbs on Osinachi Remix with Hubblesmith and on Bad Baddo Baddest.
However, at yesterday’s Ovation Red Carol hosted by Dele Momodu, Davido was invited onstage to perform. The two then made a big show of their new found unity.
