Burna Boy’s fans left disappointed for canceling Netherlands show

Fans of Grammy Award-winning singer, Burna Boy has been left totally disappointed after the singer failed to show up at his Netherland concert.

The “Common Person” crooner’s fans reportedly started pouring into the stadium’s 41,000-seater venue in anticipation of his performance, only to learn hours later that the event had been postponed.

Burna sent supporters an apology via his Instagram story. He continued by saying that although he was looking forward to performing for his Dutch fans, it was unable to do so for “a number of reasons.”

Burna Boy continued by saying his “amazing team has been hard at work trying to salvage it but we couldn’t do it in time,” adding that a new date will be announced soon.

The singer’s apology however didn’t diffuse his fans anger as they took to social media to express their disappointment, stating that it is fast becoming a trend which they don’t appreciate.

Recall Burna Boy held his audience waiting for more than eight hours on Sunday, January 1, during his first show in 2023 in the state of Lagos.

Instead of offering an apology, the musician offended his audience by stomping on their heads and insulting them.
Burna Boy did, however, apologize to his fans for how busy the event was for him and his crew in a message made on his Instatories on Monday night, January 2, following a lot of backlash. He also attributed the delay to the show’s organizers.

Likewise in 2019, the musician kept fans waiting for hours at a concert in Canada before announcing he couldn’t make it because he was stranded at the airport.
